How Do You Listen?

We were given two ears and one mouth.  That means we should spend twice as much time listening as talking.  If we truly listen, we listen to understand.  When we listen to understand, we pay attention to the way the words are said as well as the words that are being said.  This is called “Active Listening”.  Try it….you may find out a lot about the other person.
